Welcome to Roofing Services International, Celebrating 18 years of Excellence!
RSI Roofing is a full-service Commercial Roofing Contractor located in San Diego, CA. Since 1993, RSI has provided Southern California with Re-Roofing, Roof Maintenance, Repairs and 24/7 Emergency Leak Service.
1993 - David Susi (owner and president of RSI Roofing) had a vision for this roofing company after spending several years in the roofing industry in San Diego. With less than $5000 and four employees (who are still with RSI today), David was able to build RSI into a respected and thriving business that has grown to over 100 employees and $10 Million Dollars in annual revenue.
1995 - RSI installed its first energy-efficient Single-Ply roofing system. This white-reflective roofing system paved the way for future Building Owners and Managers to protect their buildings from the elements and save energy.
1995-present - RSI has joined many trade associations across San Diego County including the San Diego Roofing Contractors Association, BOMA, SDCAA, CAI, among others. This set the foundation for RSI to develop relationships within the property management industry and to network & partner with other businesses in San Diego.
1999 - RSI hosted its first annual Customer Appreciation Golf Tournament. The tournament is an all-expenses paid day of golf and entertainment for RSI's customers and partners. The tournament continues to grow in numbers every year and has become known as one of the best tournaments in the industry.
2003 - RSI purchases its corporate Headquarters in Kearny Mesa which houses over 100 employees and 30 trucks in the yard.
2006 - RSI responds to the need of its customers by opening up a seperate Roof Maintenance Division. This division allows RSI to provide its customers with specifically trained Roof Maintenance roof technicians and estimators that help extend the life of your current roof.
2007 - RSI was nominated by the San Diego Business Journal as one of San Diego’s “BEST Places to Work.” Most of the employees that started with RSI still remain there today. Strong company culture and rewarding employees for hard-work is a large reason why the employee retention remains so high after 18 years.
2009 - RSI offers Rain Harvesters as a new line of products/services. A great way to conserve water in San Diego, RSI installs its first set of Rain Harvesters at the Quail Botanical Gardens in Encinitas, CA.
2010 - RSI was ranked 90th in the nation among roofing contractors and ranked 1st among San Diego roofing contractors by Roofing Contractor Magazine. According to the US Census Bureau, there are over 25,000 roofing contractors alone in the United States. This puts RSI in the 99 percentile for US roofing contractors.
2011 - RSI again was ranked as one of the top 100 Roofing Contractors in the nation. This time moving up to 61st in the nation among roofing contractors and still ranking 1st among San Diego roofing contractors. Official link can be found HERE
In 2010 and again in 2011, RSI has hit record sales numbers despite the poor economy.
RSI is one of the few roofing contractors in the nation to have a spotless reputation. This includes: Never filing for bankruptcy and an outstanding record with the Better Business Bureau and San Diego Roofing Contractors Association.
