California Solar Initiative Workshops

The Pubilc Utilities Commission's California Solar Initiative (CSI) decision anticipated a number of workshops to explore outstanding program issues. Here is more information on future and past workshops:

• April 30, 2007: Workshop to review a staff-proposed plan for the Low-Income Incentive Program for Single-Family Homes

• February 26, 2007: Workshop to review a staff-proposed Research, Development, and Demonstration Plan.
• December 7, 2006: Workshop to gather input on options for the California Solar Initiative (CSI) marketing and outreach (M&O) plan
• October 12, 2006: Continuation workshop regarding development of the Program Handbook for the California Solar Initiative
• September 7, 2006: Workshop regarding development of the Program Handbook for the California Solar Initiative.

• May 4, 2006: Workshop on proposals for performance-based incentives, incentives for technologies other than photovoltaics, energy efficiency standards, administration of the residential retrofit portion of solar programs, and metering requirements.
• March 23, 2006: Prehearing Conference Regarding the CSI
• March 16, 2006: Performance-Based Incentives (PBI) Workshop - PBI would compensate solar project operators according to the energy output of the project over time.
