Energy

Roofing can be a very large component of the energy consumption of your building. Since 1995, RSI Roofing has educated property managers and owners on the benefits of Single Ply and white reflective coatings. That same cutting edge technology is still evident with RSI today, with 93% of all flat roof installations done with Single Ply or a white reflective coating.

Single Ply roofing material has a white-reflective membrane which reflects and reduces heat entering the building. See the difference of temperature with an Asphalt roof vs. a Single Ply roof:

Because cool roofs save both money and energy, in October 2005 they became part of the prescriptive requirements of California's energy code, the Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards. This standard requires property managers and owners to install a roof that meets the Solar Reflective Index (SRI) and thermal emittance requirements.

RSI Roofing offers products and the education to make sure your next roofing project complies with the new California standards and that you benefit from the energy savings associated with it.

RSI also installs Skylights and Solatubes (sun tunnels) to bring in natural light into your building.

Want to see what it all looks like? Come by RSI's corporate headquarters at 8285 Buckhorn St. San Diego, CA 92111 and see for yourself. You'll see what a Single Ply roof looks like and how much natural light a Solatube can bring into your building.
